Ovidii Reges

Transmuting Kings are Kings that, when in check, can only move like the checking piece. A simple sample (tested!) of this condition (Sol. 1. Ka5-b6 a7-a8=B 2. Kb6-c7 Ba8-d5 3. Kc7-d8 Sh8-f7 #).

Mao!

There is a Mao in f5, and Pe2 is a Royal Pawn (a King which has all the powers and properties of a Pawn, ok, but a King). Solution? :)

Cooked! My solution was 1. e1=Mao, Kxh6 2. Maog2, Maoh4#, but there is 3. Nh3! Sorry :(
